Responsibilities

- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to accurately process customer orders and payments.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas by following food safety protocols and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and quick service at the register.

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or a similar food service role within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for smooth order processing.
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tasks efficiently during high-volume hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a team setting while maintaining attention to detail in food quality and cleanliness.
- Enthusiasm for upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and boost sales performance.
