Sterilization Technician – Ottawa Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Ottawa Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is looking for a reliable, organized, and hardworking Sterilization Technician to join our growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and preparing surgical instruments
- Packaging and organizing instrument cassettes and surgical supplies
- Operating and maintaining sterilization equipment
- Maintaining sterilization records and following infection prevention protocols
- Restocking surgical rooms and clinical supplies
- Helping prepare operatories between patients
- Supporting the clinical team to keep the surgical day running smoothly
- Maintaining a clean and organized sterilization area
What we’re looking for:
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Previous dental, medical, or sterilization experience is a must
