Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation standards are met consistently
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,
notifying management when stock needs replenishing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or similar food industry roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, especially grilling and meal assembly
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in grilling and cooking processes
