Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting techniques, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Availability

Our office is open 6 days/week with evening hours to provide our patients with flexibility. The ideal candidate will be available 3-4 days/week, which would include minimum 2 Saturdays/month.

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
- Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and place orders as necessary.




- Support front office tasks such as answering phones and greeting patients when required.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with the following skills:

- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of Implants, Extractions and Sedation
- Experience with Itero
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Previous experience in dental assisting or as a dental receptionist is preferred. Minimum 1 year.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
