iGuard360 Security is currently seeking reliable and professional Retail Construction Overnight Security Guards (RCOs) with their own vehicle to join our team throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding areas.

This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, observant, comfortable working independently overnight, and able to travel to various retail construction locations as required.

Areas We Are Hiring:

Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, Etobicoke, North York, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Windsor, Barrie the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and surrounding areas.

Applicants must have access to their own reliable vehicle and be comfortable travelling to different retail construction locations throughout the GTA based on operational and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide overnight security coverage at retail construction and renovation sites.
- Protect the property, construction materials, equipment, and other assets from theft, vandalism, damage, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular and thorough patrols of the site, including interior and exterior areas as required.
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the shift.
- Monitor and control access to the site and address unauthorized individuals or suspicious activity appropriately.
- Ensure designated doors, gates, entrances, and other access points remain secure.
- Identify and report safety hazards, security concerns, property damage, or unusual activity.
- Complete accurate and detailed daily logs, patrol reports, and incident reports.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and contact management, emergency services,



or other appropriate parties when required.
- Follow all site-specific Post Orders, company policies, and client instructions.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence is required.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification is required.
- Own reliable vehicle is required, as guards may be assigned to different locations.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel throughout The Greater Toronto Area and surrounding communities.
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Previous security, retail, loss prevention, or construction-site security experience is considered an asset.
- Robust observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable conducting regular foot patrols throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to respond calmly to unexpected situations.
