Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students of all ages in developing their musical skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding in piano and guitar instruction, along with experience working with children and a love for fostering musical growth. This role involves creating engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs, promoting a positive learning environment, and encouraging a lifelong appreciation for music.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver customized piano lessons suited to each student’s skill level and learning style
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and exams as appropriate
- Foster a supportive and inspiring classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Incorporate music theory, sight-reading, and ear training into lessons




- Maintain lesson plans and progress records in an organized manner
- Have reliable transportation, have a good attendance record

Experience

- Proficient knowledge of your instrument, RCM certificates, university degrees are an asset,
- Experience or ability working with children and adults with all experience levels. Children can start piano as young as 4.
- No teaching experience is necessary, but you must know how to play your instrument.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
