Office Manager - Abbotsford, BC
Our client is an established construction and facilities management company with over three decades of experience in institutional, commercial, and industrial projects. Operating primarily in the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver area, including Abbotsford, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, and Squamish, they specialize in large-scale projects such as schools, recreational facilities, and industrial sites. Our client is looking for an Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations at the Abbotsford, BC office.

Responsibilities
- Manage office supplies, equipment, facilities, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and workplace events.
- Develop and maintain administrative procedures and records.
- Support HR-related tasks, including onboarding and employee documentation.
- Handle budgets, invoices, expenses, and purchasing activities.
- Supervise reception and administrative staff.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, visitors, and service providers.
- Ensure workplace health, safety, security,
and compliance with regulations.
- Facilitate communication between departments and management.
- Maintain office policies and procedures.
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of office administration experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in construction or facilities management is an asset.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and HR administration.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, QuickBooks).
- Familiarity with workplace health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
