Momentum Tire is a small mobile tire shop operation, with a focus on next level customer service and satisfaction, and high quality workmanship.

Summary

We are seeking a Tire Technician to join our team. No experience is necessary, we are willing to train the right candidate, but you MUST have an aptitude for tools, cars, and a general interest in mechanics.

Your Day-to-Day

At Momentum Tire, you will be working directly with the owner and technician. We travel to our client's homes or offices to carry out wheel swaps, tire changes, rotations, repairs and TPMS services. We work mainly on driveways, in garages, parking pads, etc. We work directly with our customers, as such you must always be polite, qualified and courteous.

Responsibilities

- Safely raising vehicles and removing wheels

- Cleaning mating surfaces and installing wheels

- Carrying out pressure checks and diagnosis of leaks

- Moving around inventory between storage/van etc

- Assisting the technician with all necessary tasks

- Maintaining, cleaning and organizing the mobile shop

- Professional attitude and appearance

Requirements

- Grade 12 education or GED





- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools

- Good customer service skills

- Ability to lift heavy objects

- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions

- Tire related experience is welcomed but not necessary

- Possess a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with no demerits

Hours

Start time will vary around 8:30-9:00am to 5pm-6pm Monday to Friday. Option to work Saturdays ~9:45 - ~4:00pm if desired. The start and end point is Cranston SE Calgary each day.

Note: We are NOT looking for part time workers at this time. You must be able to work the required Mon-Fri schedule.

Scope

Looking to fill this position by October, with an early October start date. This is a temporary position until December with a possibility of becoming permanent. During the busy season, October-December, expect 40+ hours per week with a high potential for overtime.
