Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air handlers, chillers, furnaces, and ventilation units to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and cleaning to prevent breakdowns.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fittings and drainage components.
- Utilize welding skills for repairs or modifications of metal components within HVAC equipment or ductwork.




- Assist with boiler maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation in compliance with safety standards.
- Repair appliances related to HVAC systems or building utilities as needed.
- Document all maintenance activities thoroughly and report system deficiencies or safety hazards promptly.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades involving HVAC infrastructure.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently and safely.

Experience

- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in HVAC system maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of plumbing, welding techniques, boiler operation, and appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Construction experience involving HVAC installation or system upgrades is a plus.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical diagrams essential for diagnosing system problems.
- Prior experience working with mechanical systems in commercial or industrial settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to HVAC work environments.
