Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and machinery used in manufacturing and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across all equipment. Responsibilities

- Perform detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, industrial machinery, and equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage electrical systems to diagnose issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Operate welding equipment, HVAC systems, boilers, and other specialized tools to repair or upgrade machinery components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using.
- Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics,



and mechanical drawings to identify faults and plan repairs.
- Collaborate with team members, electricians, and industrial maintenance specialists to ensure safety standards are met during all repair activities.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, boiler systems, HVAC units, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with industrial electrician practices, schematics interpretation, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly and accurately.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing for documentation purposes.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving in quick-paced settings.
