Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, giving correct change and maintaining accurate cash handling records.
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times for guests.




- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supplies needed.

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met.
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties.
- Robust customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in cashiering or serving roles is advantageous; restaurant experience is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
