We are expanding our services into hair loss treatment and are looking for experienced clinicians to join our virtual care team.About the RoleWe are looking for Nurse Practitioners or Physicians licensed in Ontario, British Columbia, and/or Alberta with experience or a strong clinical interest in hair loss treatment.You will assess patients experiencing hair loss, determine the likely cause and suitability for treatment, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe appropriate therapies where clinically indicated.The service will primarily be delivered virtually, with a combination of asynchronous clinical reviews and video consultations depending on patient needs and clinical complexity.Key Responsibilities

- Review patient intake information, medical history, medications, photographs and other relevant clinical information.
- Assess patients presenting with common hair loss concerns, including androgenetic alopecia.
- Differentiate patients suitable for virtual treatment from those requiring further investigation or referral.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans based on patient sex, medical history, hair loss pattern, treatment goals and preferences.
- Prescribe evidence-based hair loss treatments where clinically appropriate, including therapies such as minoxidil and finasteride within the clinician's scope of practice.
- Evaluate appropriate use of oral, topical and combination treatment options.
- Educate patients on expected treatment timelines, medication use, potential side effects and realistic outcomes.




- Review follow-up and refill requests and determine when asynchronous review versus a consultation is appropriate.
- Identify red flags, contraindications and cases requiring laboratory investigation, primary care follow-up or specialist referral.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Provide clinical feedback to help FasTreat refine its intake, treatment pathways, patient education and prescribing protocols during the early stage of the service.

What We’re Looking For

- Licensed and in good standing as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician in Ontario, British Columbia and/or Alberta.
- Authorized to independently assess and prescribe within the relevant province.
- Experience in hair loss, dermatology, primary care, men's/women's health or virtual care preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmacological treatment of androgenetic alopecia and common hair loss presentations.
- Comfortable assessing both male and female hair loss patients, or with clear experience treating one of these populations.
- Comfortable providing virtual and, where clinically appropriate, asynchronous care.
- Strong clinical judgment around treatment selection, contraindications, monitoring and referral.
- Comfortable contributing feedback as we develop and refine a new clinical pathway.

Compensation

- $100–$120 CAD/hour for independent contractors.
