Job Description

We are currently looking for a customer focused, dynamic sales associate that enjoys fashion and interacting with guests. The position is full-time, on a permanent basis.

(We also welcome resumes for part-time applicants as we may have opportunities available)

- Salary: Starting at $18.00/hour + Commission

Responsibilities

- Overseeing the day to day running of the store including opening and closing procedures
- Ensuring that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting, acknowledging and re-approaching every customer
- Driving sales - offering styling and sizing advice, making suggestions and offering alternatives, maintaining knowledge of all brands, products, and in store promotions, suggestive selling
- Use of POS system for cash/debit/credit transactions, refunds and exchanges
- Receiving deliveries, unpacking, price labelling and steaming current garments
- General daily cleaning and tidying of the store and its contents to a high standard




- Replenishing and organizing merchandise, monitoring floor stock and inventory
- Merchandising and changing displays/mannequins as directed, maintaining visual merchandising standards throughout the store
- Following operating procedures and policies
- Being an ambassador for our small local business

Requirements

- Customer service experience essential
- Retail/sales experience desirable
- Excellent spoken and written English proficiency
- Outgoing and able to communicate with associates and customers
- Friendly disposition and positive attitude
- Experience with a POS system is an asset, but not required
- Knowledge and passion about the fashion world is a bonus!

Expected hours: 35.0 – 44.0 per week

- Banff, AB T1L 1H1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
