We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator for restoration jobs to join our team and drive the success of our upcoming projects. Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed construction cost estimates for restoration jobs by analyzing project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam, Xactimate to develop accurate pricing models and proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather competitive pricing and scope details.
- Review project drawings and specifications thoroughly to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing while maintaining quality standards.




- Assist in the development of bid strategies and compile comprehensive bid packages for submission.
- Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure estimates align with actual costs and adjust as needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction estimating with a solid understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Xactimate or similar tools.
- Solid knowledge of construction pricing methods, labor costs, material costs, and subcontractor negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective negotiation and collaboration with team members and external partners.
- Strong project management skills with an eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Construction experience across various sectors is highly preferred; a background in heavy civil or commercial projects is advantageous.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
