Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a community pharmacy setting and possess a strong background in acute care and pediatrics. This role is essential for ensuring the protected and effective delivery of medications to patients, while also providing expert advice on medication management and patient care.

Hours

Saturdays 9:30-5
or

Every other Friday 9:30am-7pm and Saturday 9:30am-5pm

Duties

- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescribed medications.
- Prepare and dispense medications
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans.
- Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.




- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and wellness strategies.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, drug information, and pharmacy regulations.

Requirements

- Valid pharmacist license in Ontario
- Knowledge of Fillware is an asset
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacology.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
