Position Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated Stair Assembler / Carpenter to join our Calgary production team. This full time role offers the opportunity to work with Alberta’s leading stair manufacturer, building and assembling high-quality stair systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision craftsmanship, and is looking for a long-term career in the woodworking trade.

Pay: From $22.00 to $24.00 per hour (wage dependent on skill level)

Key Responsibilities

· Assemble, construct, and repair circular and straight stair components using a variety of woodworking tools and equipment.

· Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine material requirements and assembly methods.

· Operate and maintain woodworking machinery including planers, saws, air nailers, and staplers.

· Cut, plane, shape, and sand materials to precise dimensions and smooth finishes.

· Ensure accuracy and quality through measurement checks and attention to detail.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.





· Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.

Qualifications

· 1+ year of carpentry or woodworking experience (required).

· Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.

· Good mathematical and problem-solving skills for material measurement and layout.

· Detail-oriented, dependable, and safety conscious.

· Valid driver’s license considered an asset.

· Must have no allergies to wood dust or related materials.

Schedule: Day shift - 6 am to 3:30pm( Monday to Thursday); 6 am to 2:30pm (Friday)
