Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and professional Trade Show Assistant to support our booth at an upcoming industry exhibition in Calgary.

You will help welcome visitors, introduce our company, and guide potential clients to our product catalogue and contact information.

This is a great opportunity for students or individuals interested in business, engineering, or international trade to gain hands-on experience at a professional trade show.

Event Details

- Location: Calgary (BMO Centre / Stampede Park area)
- Dates: Sep 22-24 2026 (3 days)
- Hours: Approximately 6–8 hours per day (exact schedule to be confirmed)

Responsibilities

- Welcome visitors to the booth in a friendly and professional manner
- Initiate simple conversations with attendees
- Briefly introduce our company and products (training will be provided)
- Encourage visitors to scan QR codes for our product catalogue




- Collect basic visitor information if needed
- Support general booth operations

Requirements

- Strong communication skills in English
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident personality
- Comfortable speaking with current people
- Reliable and punctual

Preferred (not required):

- Background in engineering, business, or sales
- Previous customer service or event experience
- Interest in industrial / oil & gas / manufacturing sectors

Compensation

- $20–30 CAD per hour (based on experience)

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
