Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled BIM/Revit Technician to join our team and support our growing presence in the sector.

As a BIM/Revit Technician, you will be responsible for creating precise, detailed, and coordinated shop drawings using a variety of 3D and 2D tools for prefabricated exterior envelope systems. You will work closely with our design, engineering, and project management teams to translate architectural and structural drawings into fabrication-ready models and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop accurate Revit models for prefabricated wall systems (both load-bearing and non-load-bearing steel framing), floor systems and other structural and exterior envelope components.




- Produce detailed shop drawings and fabrication details based on project specifications
- Generate comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for various components for production
- Work closely with the drafting team to meet project deadlines and maintain efficiency
- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized project files and drawing standards
- Apply knowledge of building science and exterior envelope detailing to ensure constructability

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD is a requirement.
- Expertise in framing with Cold Form Steel (CFS)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings is a requirement.
- Knowledge in construction and prefabrication is a strong asset.
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce detailed construction drawings accurately.
- Experience with shop drawing standards and fabrication detailing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Diploma or certificate in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in the construction industry using Autodesk Revit.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
