Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant (QB)/Xero) to join our financial team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial health. Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Perform account reconciliations regularly to verify accuracy across various ledgers and statements
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, ADP, and Kronos to record transactions and generate reports
- Process payroll using systems like ADP or Ceridian, ensuring compliance with tax laws and company policies
- Enter data accurately into financial systems and maintain organized records for audit readiness
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with budgeting activities by providing relevant financial data and insights for planning purposes
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, ADP, and similar platforms
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable procedures
- Experience with payroll processing using systems like ADP or Ceridian
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Ability to perform account reconciliation efficiently and accurately
- Solid math skills combined with analytical thinking for account analysis and budgeting tasks
- Knowledge of financial services industry standards and best practices in bookkeeping and accounting processes
