The Muscle and Joint Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to support our mission of improving patients’ quality of life. As part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a key role in helping patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working, with a special focus on pediatric care.

Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist at the Muscle and Joint Clinic, you will assess, diagnose, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ independence and functional abilities. This role involves collaboration with our team of healthcare professionals and patient families to deliver exceptional care in a supportive clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.

- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient assessments and goals.

- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and independence.

- Provide education and resources to patients and families, including treatment options and home exercises.

- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and coordinated patient care.

- Stay informed about the latest practices in occupational therapy and pediatric rehabilitation.

- Pay: Competitive pa (65% of billings, earning potential of $75–$100/hour).

Skills and Qualifications

- Education:



Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

- Licensure: Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).

- Experience:

- Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.

- Familiarity with rehabilitation in acute care or outpatient settings is an asset.

- Skills:

- Strong communication and documentation abilities.

- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.

- Knowledge of case management principles and medical terminology.

- Additional Requirements:

- Current Vulnerable Sector Screening.

- First Aid and CPR certification.
