Distribution Coordinator

Mississauga, ON | Full-time, Permanent | $22.00 per hour

WorkSi Consulting is hiring a Distribution Coordinator on behalf of our client, one of Canada's largest importers and distributors of fresh-cut flowers. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity at their Mississauga facility with an immediate start.

Schedule and pay

- $22.00 per hour, paid weekly by direct deposit
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday (Monday and Saturday off)
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Permanent, full-time

What you'll do

- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments so deliveries go out accurately, on time, and fully documented
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with company drivers and third-party carriers
- Review bills of lading, invoices, and orders to set daily priorities
- Oversee loading operations and keep records of unfilled orders
- Coordinate pick and pack, and prepare invoices and packing slips
- Collect and upload proof of delivery documents, and follow up with drivers, carriers, and store receivers on anything outstanding
- Plan driver and courier routes as backup for the dispatcher
- Troubleshoot delivery delays, inventory discrepancies, and scanning issues
- Track on-time performance and respond to customer inquiries about shipments




- Support training of new employees on distribution procedures and systems

What you need

- 1 to 2 years of experience in distribution, logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations, specifically coordinating deliveries, carriers, or routes
- Comfort with shipping paperwork: bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, proof of delivery, and receiving discrepancies
- Solid Excel and Outlook skills with accurate data entry
- Strong professional English, written and spoken, since you'll deal with drivers, carriers, customers, and store staff daily
- Strong organization and the ability to juggle several deliveries and priorities at once
- Reliable transportation to Mississauga

Nice to have

- Experience with a TMS, WMS, or ERP system. Familiarity with NetSuite, Geotab, or Traze is a strong asset
- Experience with fresh, refrigerated, or perishable product and cold-chain handling
