Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately measure and plan drywall installation projects
- Install drywall panels using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment, fastening, and finishing for a seamless surface
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry tasks as needed to support drywall placement and structural integrity
- Finish drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, sanding, and applying textures to achieve a professional appearance
- Assist with restoration projects, including repairing damaged drywall or preparing surfaces for painting or finishing
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation processes efficiently
- Utilize schematics and technical instructions for siding, roofing, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying,



and cabinet installation when required
- Operate hand tools such as saws, drills, trowels, and levels along with heavy machinery for lifting or moving materials safely
- Support the installation of additional components like insulation or electrical wiring behind drywall when necessary
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and best practices during all phases of installation

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a focus on drywall installation or related trades such as carpentry or masonry
- Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for accurate project execution
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assess material needs and project timelines
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (if applicable), and heavy lifting techniques
- Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming, siding work, roofing techniques, plumbing rough-ins, electrical wiring basics, and flooring or tile laying is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of safety protocols within construction sites to ensure a secure working setting
