About the Job

We’re looking for a steady, experienced heavy equipment operator for pipe work and site development—mainly water, sewer, and storm installs, plus subdivision work.

This is year-round work on active job sites. You’ll mainly run an excavator (12T–52T), and may also operate dozers, loaders, or rock trucks depending on the job.

You’ll be working with pipe crews on underground installs, trenching, and site prep.

Pay & Hours

- $35.00–$38.00/hour (based on experience)
- 45–55 hours/week
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Overtime available
- Full-time, steady work

What You’ll Be Doing

- Digging and installing water, sewer, and storm pipe
- Trenching, backfilling, and grading
- Subdivision and site work
- Running different equipment when needed
- Working alongside pipe crews on active installs
- Loading trucks and general excavation work
- Daily machine checks and basic upkeep

What We’re Looking For

- Solid excavator experience (5+ years preferred)
- Experience in pipe work or site work is a big plus
- Comfortable working around crews and other equipment
- Able to follow stakes, laser, and directions from layout
- Safe operator who takes care of equipment
- Steady,



reliable worker who shows up and works a full week
- Works well with a crew on active job sites

Requirements

- Valid driver’s licence
- Steel-toed boots
- WHMIS / First Aid (asset)
- Own transportation
