Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Meat Packaging Supervisor to lead our packaging operations with energy and precision. In this role, you will oversee the daily activities of the meat packaging team, ensuring products are packaged efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize workflow, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality control. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the meat packaging process to meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Monitor packaging operations through ERP systems such as SAP, ensuring accurate tracking of inventory and production data.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage raw material flow, ensuring timely availability for packaging lines.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and product specifications.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on machinery operation, assembly techniques, and safety procedures.
- Lead process improvement projects by analyzing workflow,
identifying bottlenecks, and applying best practices for manufacturing excellence.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or food processing environments, preferably within meat or perishable goods packaging.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to packaging machinery and equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar software used for inventory management and production planning.
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes to coordinate supply chain activities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through continuous improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Experience in quality control procedures and implementing process improvements for operational efficiency.
- Understanding of supply chain dynamics within a manufacturing setting, including inventory management and process optimization.

Pay: $18.75-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 44.0 per week
