Job Description
As a Visual Merchandiser Lead at Mark’s, you’ll use your “eye for style” to create visual displays that enhance the appearance of our store while adhering to guidelines. You will work in conjunction with the management team to plan and execute departmental standards & initiatives and execute promotional setup. Additionally, you will directly engage with customers to ensure they find what they are looking for quickly and easily.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all visual elements are displayed with current merchandise and reflect current market trends
- Ensure all visual merchandising standards and directions are maintained
- Execute on promotional set up and seasonal change-overs, vendor initiatives, and maintenance of store fixtures and signage
- Work in conjunction with the management team to plan and execute departmental standards & initiatives
- Participate in general store upkeep including restocking, seasonal changeover, inventory, pricing and signing
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong Visual Merchandising Skills; Proficiency in creating eye-catching displays that align with the brand's identity. A deep understanding of colour theory, design principles, and space planning. Ability to adapt displays to drive sales and match customer preferences.
- Experience leading and inspiring a team. Capable of delegating tasks effectively and ensuring timely completion.
- Creativity and Innovation; A keen eye for trends and new ideas to keep displays fresh and engaging.
Problem-solving skills for adapting to challenges like limited stock or space.
- Attention to Detail; Precision in executing layouts according to company standards.
- Time Management and Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical Skills; Understanding sales data and using it to influence visual strategies.
- Passion for the Brand; Genuine enthusiasm for the Mark's products and vision.

Our typical hiring range is between $18.85 and $22.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
