The Job: An Automotive Service Adviser's responsibility is to listen and thoroughly understand customer problems, to arrange for an appropriate service level, and to set/manage expectations on the part of the customer and the technician. The candidate must have previous service advisor/customer service experience and the ability to:

- Determine vehicles' needs based on customer information, vehicle age, mileage, and a vehicle walk-around
- Use a consultative selling process to assist customers in planning for ongoing required maintenance of their vehicle
- Producing repair orders for customers with full transparency, including cost and time estimates
- Communicating frequently with Technicians and Parts Associates to ensure timely completion of work
- Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle, based on how the customer wants to be informed
- Take 'ownership' and accept accountability for delivering above-average service levels and sales results
- Make best-value repair recommendations based upon the nature of the problem
- Meet/greet customers in person or on the phone
- Complete walk-arounds
- Make recommendations for preventative maintenance




- Gain superior product knowledge to effectively help customers with service maintenance requirements and warranty information

The Qualifications required:

- 2 years of previous working experience as a Service Advisor in an Automotive Dealership is a must.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract report.
- Able to communicate effectively: verbally, in writing and by listening.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Volkswagen is considered an asset.
- Able to manage people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Post-Secondary diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work evenings and on Saturdays
- Results-driven with a customer focus
- General mechanical knowledge
- Well-versed in PBS
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven track record in achieving the highest CSI scores
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both in a team setting & independently

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
