WAGE: $25.00 /hour

JOB INFORMATION:

Saunders Landscaping is looking for full-time Skid Steer Operators for our upcoming Landscape season. Our crews work Monday-Saturday. We are a commercial landscape construction company that works in Calgary and surrounding area. Our crews work Monday-Saturday.

You must be able to drive to site(s) daily, have a hard hat, and steel toed boots.

Responsibilities:

- Perform equipment inspections.

- Perform assigned work on schedule, and as directed.

- Operate equipment in a safe and effective manner while avoiding damage to company and other property.

- Demonstrate knowledge of landscaping, such as fine grading and spreading of topsoil.

- Conduct work in accordance with OH&S; requirements.

- Be prepared to assist crews with physical tasks if skid steer work is completed onsite.

What you need to be considered:

- Require a minimum of 5 years experience operating skid steers.

- Must be able to operate both track and tire equipment safely and professionally.





- Ability to communicate with crew members, forepersons, and other trades.

- Ability to prioritize work in order to meet tight deadlines.

- Good eye/hand coordination.

- Physical ability to handle prolonged sitting, jostling in the cab and getting in and out of a skid steer.

- Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

- Reliable, punctual, possess a positive attitude, and a team player.

- Other construction and safety training considered an asset.
