Residential Renovation Helper – Full-Time

Cavallino Construction, a small, dynamic residential renovation company, is seeking a motivated and reliable helper to join our team.

We require candidates with basic experience in residential, commercial, or general construction—familiarity with measuring, tools, and safety procedures is a must. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are also required.

Duties

- Demolish existing structures or fixtures safely and efficiently
- Install new flooring, drywall, cabinetry, and fixtures according to project specifications
- Perform painting, sanding, and finishing work to achieve desired aesthetic results




- Repair or replace damaged surfaces and structural elements
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage materials needed for renovation projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes throughout each project
- Communicate progress regularly with supervisors and clients to ensure expectations are met

Skills

- Proven experience in renovation, carpentry, or related construction fields is preferred
- Strong knowledge of building materials, tools, and techniques for various renovation tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to unforeseen challenges on-site
- Good physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual tasks over extended periods
- Robust attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a safe work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
