Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and dependable CNC Punch Press Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will set up and operate AMADA CNC turret punch press equipment to fabricate sheet metal parts according to strict quality and dimensional standards. - Set Up & Operate: Prepare, set up, and run AMADA CNC punch press machines safely and efficiently.
- Tooling Management: Select, install, align, and change out punches, dies, and turret tooling. Monitor tooling for wear.
- Program Handling: Load, select, and make minor offset adjustments to CNC programs.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to verify dimensions against blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine daily maintenance on the machine and turret. Keep the work area clean and hazard-free.
- Material Handling: Load and unload sheet metal raw materials safely,



using a forklift or crane if certified. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC turret punch presses (AMADA experience required).
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Tooling Knowledge: Solid understanding of punch press tooling, sheet metal properties, and material thicknesses.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long shifts, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work Ethic: High attention to detail, solid safety record, and ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Experience:

- AMADA CNC: 1 year (preferred)
- CNC Punch Press: 1 year (preferred)
