We are seeking a Store Manager to oversee all store operations of BMR Cornwall Perkins Home Centre LTD (the position is currently vacant).

Reporting directly to the General Manager and the Ownership Team, the Store Manager will be responsible for managing staff, overseeing purchasing, leading the sales team, creating schedules, and building strong relationships with builders, renovators, and consumers.

Working alongside a dynamic management team, the Store Manager will enhance current operational strengths and support the ongoing development of all team members. This person is key to helping the company continue to grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all store operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop strategic plans and set sales goals to drive business growth.
- Oversee staffing, customer service, inventory management, sales budgets, and operating expenses.
- Plan workforce requirements based on seasonal demands, recruit new employees, and provide comprehensive training.
- Monitor and enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure a safe, engaging work environment for all team members.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Experience & Education:





- Proven management and team leadership experience with a strong sales background.
- Post-secondary degree in Business Administration (asset).
- Knowledge of small business operations and processes.
- Familiarity with the hardware retail environment (asset).

· Skills & Competencies:

- Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to unite teams and clearly convey instructions and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize during high-volume periods.
- Proficiency in computerized systems, including sales reporting, order management, and inventory control.
- Experience in budgeting and financial planning.

· Availability:

- Tuesday to Saturday work schedule.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours to support team needs as required.

· Language Requirements:

- Bilingual (French and English) to effectively serve our diverse customer base.
