Commonwealth Kitchen & Bar is a casual fine dining restaurant and lounge opening up in the downtown Winnipeg area, looking for experienced staff to uphold the qualities we value most, friendliness, flawless execution, and a warm passion for hospitality.

Roles as full time and part time bartenders to be filled. Putting forth a restaurant service transitioning in to late night bar heavy service, we are looking for an experienced bar team to carry an elevated, high volume bar.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor and ensure cleanliness and organization of workspace and storage.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology




- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
