Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing communication and swallowing abilities for diverse patient populations. This position offers an exciting chance to deliver comprehensive speech therapy services across various clinical settings, including hospitals and acute care environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring each patient receives compassionate, effective care that promotes independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions to identify specific needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and medical condition.
- Provide direct therapy sessions to patients across pediatric and adult populations, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy strategies to maximize outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.




- Document all evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and swallowing safety to support ongoing recovery at home.

Experience

- Prior hospital experience is highly desirable, especially within acute care or inpatient settings.
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical documentation standards is essential for effective communication within healthcare teams.
- Proven case management skills to coordinate multidisciplinary care and facilitate patient transitions.
- Hands-on experience providing patient-centered care in fast-paced environments such as hospitals or clinics.

Pay: $85.00-$100.00 per hour
