Tank Truck Dispatcher

Nordic Energy Canada Corp. is looking for an experienced Tank Truck Dispatcher to join our Grande Prairie team.

This is a fast-paced operational role responsible for coordinating tank truck operators, equipment, and daily fluid-hauling requirements while maintaining strong communication with our drivers, supervisors, and clients.

Responsibilities

- Dispatch and coordinate fluid hauling operations
- Schedule drivers and equipment based on client requirements and daily workload
- Communicate job details, locations, fluid types, volumes, and changes to operators
- Monitor active jobs and adjust dispatch plans as priorities change
- Maintain regular communication with clients, operators, and field supervisors
- Ensure the appropriate equipment and qualified operators are assigned to each job
- Track driver availability, Hours of Service, days worked, and scheduling requirements
- Coordinate crew changes, call-outs, breakdowns, and last-minute client requests
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and job information
- Assist with reviewing tickets, paperwork, and operational documentation
- Work closely with Operations, HSE, Maintenance, and Administration
- Promote protected work practices and ensure company and client procedures are followed

What We're Looking For

- Previous oilfield dispatch experience strongly preferred
- Experience with tank trucks, fluid hauling, production services, or oilfield transportation is a major asset
- Strong knowledge of the Grande Prairie and surrounding oilfield operating area




- Understanding of Hours of Service and commercial transportation requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple trucks, drivers, and changing priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a high-paced environment where plans can change quickly
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Dependable, professional, and able to communicate effectively with both clients and field personnel
- Experience with dispatching software or electronic field-ticketing systems is an asset
