What You'll Be Doing Every Day

1. Safely operate a DZ flatbed truck with 10–13 speed manual transmission to deliver building materials across the GTA
2. Operate the boom crane (0–8 Ton) to load, unload, and precisely position materials — drywall, steel studs, insulation, aggregates, and more — onto construction sites, including rooftop and elevated placements
3. Secure loads properly before transport and before lifting — nothing moves unless it's safe
4. Perform thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and pre-operation inspections on both the truck and boom equipment
5. Maintain accurate daily logs: deliveries, inspections, hours of service, and any incidents or near-misses

Follow all Ministry of Transportation regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific safety protocols
7. Always wear appropriate PPE and enforce safety boundaries around the crane swing zone
8. Coordinate delivery schedules and lift plans with site supervisors, dispatchers, and the yard team

What You Bring

Must-Have

1. Valid Ontario DZ Driver's License in good standing
2. Clean driving abstract (3-year minimum)
3. 0–8 Ton Boom Truck Operator Certification (current and valid)
4. Minimum 2 years of experience operating a DZ flatbed with boom crane
5. Confident driving a 10–13 speed manual transmission — this is non-negotiable
6. Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
7. Strong knowledge of GTA roads, construction-site access, and load-securement best practices
8. Physical ability to handle strapping, chaining, and tarping loads
9. Transparent criminal record check (or willingness to obtain one)
10. Strong English communication skills — verbal and written
