Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure quality and cost control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
- Assist in food prep activities such as chopping, marinating, and pre-cooking ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks with energy and focus
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent food service experiences to guests
Experience
- Prior food service experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented mindset
- Understanding of serving standards and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
