Responsibilities

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods over long or short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and records of shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road or at delivery sites




- Assist with warehouse tasks when necessary, including moving freight that may involve heavy lifting

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience driving large trucks or similar vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning
- Excellent communication skills for clear interactions with team members and customers
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual tasks involving lifting or loading cargo
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends if needed

Pay: $180.00-$200.00 per day
