Dental Receptionist

We are a well-established dental practice in Burnaby looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our growing team.

Your contributions will matter, and you’ll receive the tools, onboarding, and ongoing support needed to build your confidence, develop your skills, and grow with our practice.

Our office is busy and fast-paced, so we’re looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates confidently, and genuinely enjoys creating an excellent experience for patients.

Our Ideal Candidate

- Has at least one year of dental reception experience
- Is highly proactive, self-motivated, and dependable
- Strong English proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Has a friendly, patient-focused customer service mindset
- Is organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Thrives in a busy, fast-paced dental environment
- Enjoys working collaboratively and being part of a team
- Is eager to learn, develop new skills, and take on greater responsibility
- Is passionate about dentistry and supporting our community’s oral health
- Has experience with ClearDent and MaxAssist—an asset, but we are happy to train the right candidate

What You’ll Be Doing

- Welcoming patients warmly and helping them feel comfortable
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Managing patient flow and helping keep the schedule productive
- Coordinating with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and fellow administrators
- Processing dental insurance claims and collecting payments
- Maintaining accurate patient information and records
- Supporting the team wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly
