What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant electrical design experience who is confident working in AutoCAD Electrical and has a strong foundation in electrical design. Experience with industrial machinery, automation, material handling,
custom equipment or another electromechanical manufacturing environment would translate particularly well. Just as importantly, you'll be detail oriented, curious and proactive, with the ability to learn quickly, take good technical notes and know when to ask questions.

- Opportunity to gradually take on more complex projects and grow toward a Senior Electrical Designer position
What You'll Be Doing
- Create and modify electrical designs using AutoCAD Electrical for customer-specific industrial equipment projects.
- Adapt established electrical designs to meet project requirements while maintaining accuracy and consistency with internal standards.
- Work closely with Mechanical Design to ensure electrical and mechanical requirements are properly integrated throughout each project.
- Collaborate with Production and other internal teams as designs move from engineering into manufacturing.
- Support projects through the production cycle, responding to design questions, required revisions and issues that arise as equipment is being built.
- Manage electrical design work across multiple active projects and adjust priorities as projects move through approvals, revisions and production.
- Maintain accurate technical drawings and project documentation with a high level of attention to detail.
- Learn KBT's equipment, design standards and internal processes, gradually progressing toward greater independence and ownership of more complex projects.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Project Coordination, Sales, Parts &
- Service and other internal stakeholders as required.
What You'll Need
- Approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant electrical design experience, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing or equipment environment.

- Strong foundational understanding of electrical design principles and the ability to discuss the reasoning behind your design work.
- Experience supporting electrical designs through manufacturing or production is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to industrial machinery, automation, material handling, OEM/custom equipment or electromechanical systems is a strong asset.
- Ability to read, interpret and work with technical drawings and project requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate technical documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- A proactive learning style, including asking thoughtful questions, retaining technical information and taking initiative as your knowledge grows.
