Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Looking for someone for a minimum 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will support our team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinical operations, and maintaining a welcoming setting. This role offers an excellent prospect for individuals passionate about dental health and eager to grow within a professional setting. Prior experience with Dentrix is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, restorations, root canals and surgical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA standards

Skills





- Proficiency with dental software Dentrix
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience in dental assisting with certification
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient comfort and care excellence

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
