Summary

Are you passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through food? We’re looking for a Cook 1 or Cook 2 to join the kitchen crew at the Gold Pan Saloon - a lively, local spot right on Main Street in downtown Whitehorse.

In this role, you’ll prepare and serve high-quality meals across a variety of services, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. You’ll be part of a hardworking and welcoming team that takes pride in delivering fresh, consistent, and satisfying food to our guests.

The position may be offered at the Cook 1 or Cook 2 level based on the successful candidate’s experience, station capabilities, consistency, judgment, and ability to work independently.

What You Bring To The Role

- Previous line-cooking experience in a restaurant or other commercial kitchen
- Ability to work assigned stations effectively in a quick-paced environment
- Strong time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
- A positive attitude and passion for hospitality and food service
- Knowledge of food handling, safety, and cleanliness standards




- A collaborative approach and the ability to communicate effectively.
- For Cook 1, demonstrated ability to operate multiple stations independently, maintain quality and pace, and guide less-experienced employees.
