Seeking a weekend worker role in Cavan, Ontario. We are a hunter breeding farm and have a wide age range of horses. Must be comfortable with handling young horses.

Will need to be comfortable driving tractor with plow, as you will need to plow the driveway during the winter. Responsible for shovelling farm owners deck too.

If holidays fall during the weekend you will be expected to work that day still.

You would be responsible for night check Friday night, all Saturday, and turn in and turn out Sunday. Sunday night check will be done by the Barn Manager.

Barn duties are:

-Turn out at 8am and turn in at 2pm and night check at 8pm

-Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the barn.

-Muck out stalls and replace bedding, scrub and fill water buckets.

-Dusting in the barn

-Clean wash area. Return barn tools to appropriate area

-Remove dirt from between mats in hallway of barn.

-Other duties as assigned

Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: $125.00 per day
