We are looking for a reliable, motivated Live-In Hotel Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our hotel in St. Marys, Ontario.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys hospitality, working independently, solving problems, and making sure guests have a great experience. You will work directly with the owners and become the main point of contact for the hotel.

Responsibilities

- Live on-site and oversee day-to-day hotel operations
- Carry the hotel phone and respond to guest calls and text messages
- Monitor and respond to hotel emails and guest inquiries
- Coordinate and help schedule cleaning staff
- Ensure rooms are ready and hotel standards are being maintained
- Handle guest questions, concerns, and issues as they arise
- Take ownership of overall guest satisfaction
- Work with the owners to identify and coordinate hotel maintenance
- Handle small/basic maintenance tasks when appropriate
- Keep owners informed of operational issues and opportunities for improvement
- Help create smooth systems for cleaning, maintenance, check-ins, and general hotel operations

Hotel, hospitality, property management, maintenance, customer service, or management experience would be an asset, but attitude, reliability, problem-solving ability, and work ethic are extremely important to us.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skill set, responsibilities, and overall fit.

We are looking for someone who wants more than simply a job. Compensation will have a performance-based component, and there is potential for an exceptional long-term manager to earn an equity/ownership opportunity in the business based on performance and contribution.
