Wildlife Control Technician / Division Lead Job Overview

We Care Pest Control is looking for an experienced Wildlife Control Technician to lead and grow our wildlife division across the Greater Toronto Area.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced technician who wants the freedom to operate independently, make key decisions, and benefit directly from the division’s growth. You will manage wildlife jobs from the initial inspection and customer quote through removal, exclusion, repairs, and follow-up service.

You will have significant control over pricing, technical methods, scheduling, materials, and day-to-day operations. Services will be completed under the We Care Pest Control name and insurance, with administrative, marketing, and operational support provided by our company.

Compensation is performance-based, and there is no fixed earning ceiling. Your income will depend on job volume, pricing, performance, and the continued growth of the division.

Responsibilities

- Inspect residential and commercial properties for wildlife activity, entry points, damage, nesting areas, and safety concerns.
- Identify wildlife species and develop safe, humane, and effective removal and exclusion plans.
- Handle wildlife issues involving raccoons, squirrels, skunks, birds, bats, and other common urban wildlife.
- Provide customers with professional recommendations, pricing, and written service quotes.

- Install one-way doors, screening, vent covers, chimney caps, metal flashing, and other wildlife-proofing materials.

- Seal entry points and complete minor exterior repairs when required.
- Safely work on roofs, ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined or elevated areas.
- Schedule and manage assigned jobs, follow-ups, equipment, and materials.
- Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after each service.
- Document inspections, treatments, repairs, photographs, recommendations, and job outcomes.
- Maintain professional workmanship and customer-service standards under the We Care Pest Control name.
- Help develop the wildlife division’s pricing, service procedures, equipment requirements, and growth strategy.
- Follow all applicable wildlife regulations, safety requirements, and humane-removal practices.

Qualifications

- Previous skilled wildlife removal and exclusion experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of common GTA wildlife species, behaviour, nesting habits, entry points, and exclusion techniques.
- Experience performing inspections, preparing quotes, and explaining service recommendations to customers.
- Ability to independently assess jobs and make sound pricing and technical decisions.
- Experience installing one-way doors, screening, flashing, vent covers, chimney caps, and exclusion materials.
- Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas.
- Skilled with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong customer-service,

communication, sales, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently while representing the company professionally.
- Physically capable of lifting equipment and materials and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation suitable for travelling to customer locations throughout the GTA.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on customer demand and wildlife activity.
- Knowledge of applicable Ontario wildlife laws and humane-removal requirements.

Compensation and Opportunity

- High earning potential with no fixed commission ceiling.
- Freedom to manage the division’s day-to-day field operations.
- Authority to make pricing and technical decisions within company, legal, safety, and insurance requirements.
- Opportunity to build and run a wildlife division without having to establish a separate company.
