Patient Care Aide — Rosehealth Medical and Optometry

Rosehealth Medical and Optometry, a busy family medicine and optometry clinic in Saskatoon, is hiring a full-time Medical Office Assistant to join our clinical support team.

What you'll do:

- Prepare patients for appointments, including taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, weight)
- Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and transfers (exam tables, wheelchairs, walking aids)
- Support patients with personal care needs during appointments where required
- Escort and orient patients through the clinic, ensuring a clear and comfortable visit
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to physicians and nursing staff
- Assist
- with basic first aid and respond to patient incidents as needed

What we're looking for:





- Experience providing direct patient or personal care (home care, long-term care, caregiving, or clinical settings)
- Certificate or training in caregiving, health care aide work, or a related field
- Comfort with hands-on physical assistance and basic first aid
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Full-time availability, Monday–Saturday per clinic schedule
- Maintain clean, sanitized exam rooms and equipment between patients
- Keep accurate patient records in line with clinic protocols and privacy legislation (PIPEDA/HIPA)

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
