About the Position

Flippy Renos is looking for a reliable and responsible individual to assist with general maintenance and upkeep of residential rental properties.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, travelling between properties, and handling day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

Perform general property maintenance and minor repairs

Repair or replace doors, locks, handles, cabinets, and other hardware

Basic appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs

Replace light fixtures, bulbs, smoke detector batteries, furnace filters, etc.

Complete maintenance required during move-ins and move-outs

Inspect tenant-reported maintenance issues and identify possible solutions

Assemble and install small household fixtures and items

Pick up required materials and supplies when needed

Take before-and-after photos of completed work

Provide updates regarding maintenance work

Keep the work area clean after completing the job

Travel to assigned rental properties in Edmonton and surrounding areas

Work Schedule





Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturday: Approximately 5 hours

Sunday: Approximately 5 hours

Weekend hours may vary depending on scheduled maintenance work.

Compensation

Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: $60/day

Saturday & Sunday: $75/day

Approved work-related mileage/gas expenses will be reimbursed or provided.

Requirements

Previous maintenance, handyman, or renovation experience preferred

Comfortable with residential property repairs

Experience with drywall, painting, repairs, and installations

Valid driver’s licence

Reliable vehicle

Basic tools preferred

Ability to work independently

Reliable and punctual

Positive communication skills

Able to provide photos and updates after completing work

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.0 per week
