Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Perimeter Drain Foreman to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of perimeter drainage systems on construction sites. This role involves coordinating teams, interpreting technical plans, and ensuring that drainage solutions are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key leader in office, you will play an essential role in ensuring proper water management and foundation protection for large-scale construction projects. Your expertise in construction processes and ability to manage multiple tasks will drive project success from start to finish.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a team of workers in the installation and repair of perimeter drainage systems, including trenching, pipe laying, and backfilling.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of drainage layouts.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery necessary for excavation, trenching, and concrete forming activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure drainage work aligns with overall project timelines and specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Manage material estimates, ordering supplies such as pipes, fittings, concrete forms, and other construction materials needed for drainage projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including daily logs, inspection reports, and project documentation.





Requirements

- Proven experience in construction with a focus on drainage systems or related infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to drainage layouts.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation (such as excavators or loaders), and concrete forming techniques.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and material management.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics related to plumbing, masonry, electrical systems (where applicable), and restoration work.
- Experience with masonry work including concrete finishing; knowledge of carpentry for form building; drywall installation; caulking; flooring installation; tile laying; electrical experience; welding; plumbing; painting; cabinet installation; restoration tasks.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
- Valid certifications in heavy equipment operation or relevant construction trades are preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
