Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting, decorating, and finishing techniques across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your skills will help enhance the aesthetic appeal and durability of various surfaces, ensuring client satisfaction and high-quality results. Duties

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and power tools with precision.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed schematics to accurately execute painting and decorating plans.
- Perform drywall installation, repair, and restoration work to create smooth surfaces ready for finishing.
- Use hand tools and rigging equipment safely to complete complex painting or decorating tasks on various structures.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements





- Proven construction experience with a strong background in painting and decorating techniques.
- Knowledge of drywall installation, restoration processes, and industrial or commercial painting applications.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, scaffolding rigging, and other relevant equipment.
- Experience with residential painting projects as well as large-scale commercial or industrial jobs.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
- Familiarity with schematics related to construction painting or decorating systems is a plus.
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward client interactions.
