About the Role:

Cox Bay Beach Resort is growing our Housekeeping leadership team, and we're excited to introduce a brand-new position: Assistant Housekeeping Manager. This is the first time our department will have two dedicated leaders working side by side, and we're looking for someone ready to help shape what that partnership looks like.

This role is administration-focused. You'll be the engine behind the scenes: hiring, onboarding, scheduling, ordering, and inventory, while working closely with our Housekeeping Manager, whose focus is on the floor: supporting the team hands-on with cleaning and day-to-day staff needs. Together, you'll lead a large team and keep the department running smoothly from every angle.

If you love organization, people, and problem-solving in equal measure, this role could be a great fit.

What You'll Do:

· Build and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage across the property

· Handle ordering and inventory management for cleaning supplies and equipment

· Partner closely with the Housekeeping Manager for staffing needs, priorities, and team support

· Help manage and mentor a large housekeeping team alongside the Housekeeping Manager and General Manager

· Step in to assist with cleaning and property organization when needed

· Support the department in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction

· Run the housekeeping department on the Housekeeping Manager’s days off

What You Bring:

· Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience required

· Management or supervisory experience required

· Valid driver's license required

· Strong organizational skills and comfort with administrative work (scheduling, ordering, inventory tracking)

· Experience hiring and onboarding staff is an asset, but not mandatory

· A collaborative mindset: this role works in close partnership with the Housekeeping manager and the General Manager

· Ability to lead a large team with clarity and consistency

· Willingness to jump in on the floor when the team needs extra hands

Why Cox Bay Beach Resort?

Join a resort team that values collaboration, growth, and caring for one another as much as we care for our guests. This new role is a chance to help build a stronger leadership structure in Housekeeping from the ground up.
