The Long Shot Pub is located at the Christina Lake Motel and RV Park which is a family-owned resort that embodies the spirit of camping and adventure in beautiful British Columbia. Our mission is to provide a welcoming, down-to-earth experience for our guests while maintaining a solid connection to the community and nature.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated part time year round Prep/Line Cook to join our kitchen team at our restaurant/pub called The Long Shot Pub located at the Christina Lake Motel and RV Park. In this role, you will play an essential part in preparing delicious meals for our guests, contributing to their memorable experiences at our resort. Must have own accommodation or we have RV sites available for discounted rent for employees.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure high-quality food handling practices.
- Assist the head cook or being the shift head cook in cooking and plating dishes during busy service periods.
- Help with inventory management by keeping track of food supplies and reporting shortages.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure effective workflow during meal service.

Requirements

- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Food Safe Certificate required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Passion for cooking and providing excellent service to guests.

Pay: $19.50-$22.50 per hour

- Christina Lake, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
