Senior Site Superintendent – Multi-Unit Residential

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Site Superintendent to oversee the construction of three multi-unit residential buildings in Orléans.

This is a senior field leadership position responsible for schedule, trade coordination, safety, quality, inspections, and overall site execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day construction operations across three buildings.
- Coordinate and supervise all trades and subcontractors.
- Maintain construction schedules, sequencing, manpower, and site logistics.
- Oversee roofing and building-envelope installation, ensuring quality and weather-tightness.
- Coordinate wood-frame and concrete structural work and building-services interfaces.
- Coordinate elevators, fire protection, mechanical/electrical services, insulation, drywall, and finishing trades.
- Ensure proper sequencing and inspection before work is covered.
- Conduct quality-control inspections and manage deficiencies through completion.
- Maintain a strong site safety culture and ensure compliance with Ontario safety requirements.
- Complete daily reports, progress updates, photographs,



and inspection documentation.
- Identify schedule risks and construction issues early and drive solutions.

Experience Required

- 8+ years of construction experience, with significant Site Superintendent experience.
- Proven experience with multi-unit residential construction.
- Bilingualism (French) is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of wood-frame and concrete construction.
- Experience with roofing, building envelope, drywall, fire protection, elevators, and trade coordination.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on construction experience is strongly preferred, but the ability to effectively lead, coordinate, inspect, and manage the work is the priority.
